Patrick Cannon of Drimkeelan Subscribes to Testimonial in Memory of the Late Father Doherty, 1882

Back in Drimkeelan, Mountcharles, Donegal, Connell Cannon’s brother Patrick was running the family farm.

The Derry Journal of 27th January 1882 records Patrick as a subscriber to a testimonial in memory of the late Father Doherty. In a separate notice, Conall is also recorded as a subscriber to the same testimonial. The collection was arranged by Conall’s brother-in-law Jerome Boyce.
